NYC Apartment Tour – Bedroom
Hello, hello! I’m back with a New York City apartment tour! From my college apartment to my first apartment after graduation, I’ve always shown (almost) every single place that I’ve lived. When I move somewhere new, I always look for inspiration online, so I hope you find this little tour helpful (part two will be coming soon!).
Chase and I moved in together for the first time right after our wedding this past August. We started from scratch, moving to New York City with just a few suitcases. Before we got married, I lived in an already furnished place in Austin, so I didn’t own any furniture. It was nice to start with a blank canvas and pick out everything together.
Here’s a look at our bedroom, bathroom, and entryway:
Apartment Tour: Living Room
Hello, hello & happy Monday! Can somebody please tell me how weekends fly by so quickly?! Apologies that I am just now getting this post up. I took these photos the same day that I took the pics from my Apartment Tour: Bedroom post, and I am so excited to share them with you all today! Thank you SO much for all of the love and support I received on my Bedroom Tour post; you guys have no idea how much it means to me! I have been LOVING my new apartment. I am a big believer that the space you live in can really make the world of difference. Shopping for furniture for the first time in my life was definitely no easy challenge.
Apartment Tour: Bedroom
Hello friends & happy Sunday! I apologize that I am just now getting this post up; I have been crazy, crazy busy these past few weeks with my new job & catching up with friends. Living in Silicon Valley for the 3rd time now has been a complete dream so far. I can not begin to even describe how at home I feel here in California, and I can’t even put into words how exciting it feels to be back. Last summer, I shared my summer apartment tour, but it wasn’t too thorough because I rented my furniture and was very limited on the things that I could bring. I had so much fun decorating my apartment this time around now that this place is a little more permanent than both my summer apartment and my college apartment. My dad and I moved in about a month ago, and June has been just flying by. Getting settled in and unpacked was definitely a process in itself, but it feels so good to have everything 100% done. Today I wanted to share my new apartment with you guys! I am really happy with the way it turned out, and it feels SO homey. I have linked everything below each picture along with little details about each section!
Without further ado, hello MTV & welcome to my crib:
white dresser // white mirror (from HomeGoods linked similar online option)
I absolutely love this part of my room. Finding a great dresser was definitely a little challenging, especially because my room isn’t very big. I wanted something crisp and white to really brighten up the room. Because I don’t have a lot of closet space, I wanted a six drawer dresser so that I could really hold a lot of things (like workout clothes, pajamas, etc.). This one definitely holds more than I expected, and I am very happy with it. I really love the white mirror as well- it is very cohesive! I purchased it from HomeGoods!
blue & white vase (from HomeGoods- linked similar, online option)
I absolutely love this blue and white vase. It is simple, but adds a really nice touch. It reminds me a little of Greece. The dresser felt a little empty for a while, and I having a medium sized decor piece can really help fill some of that space! My mom gave it to me as a gift, and I think it is gorgeous.

Mini Apartment Decor Haul
Hello & happy Saturday!!
It’s officially my last weekend in Texas. I have been beyond busy the past few days, scrambling around for the big move. For my first three years of college, I lived on campus- no personal furniture required. This past summer and school year, I rented my furniture for both apartments. However, now that I am officially moving to my first semi-permanent apartment, I will be purchasing my own furniture. I never imagined it would be this stressful (or expensive/time-consuming). I can’t deny that it’s definitely been fun though- I love decor shopping! The packing process has been wild, but I definitely feel like things are starting to come together. I’ve officially ordered all my actual furniture (i.e. bed, couch, coffee table, etc.), and it will be in California by the time I get there next week! Today I wanted to share a few little things I’ve picked up recently for my apartment along with other pieces I have collected over the past year or so. Of course there are so many more things I have to share with you guys over the next few weeks, but I wanted to show some of my personal faves that will be making their way into my new place:
ONE long pillow for bed | TWO gold pen holder | THREE geo coaster | FOUR pillow for couch | FIVE blanket for couch | SIX surf shack book | SEVEN pure colour book (was on my wish-list for weeks) | EIGHT san francisco book | NINE wooden llama
College Apartment Tour
Hello & happy Friday! It’s raining here in Oxford, so I thought I would make a little room tour of my new apartment. For the past three years in college, I have been living on campus. I have to say, I honestly do miss living in the dorm and the sorority house. However, it is nice to finally have my own room (and to have a slightly bigger closet- let’s be real)!
For my senior year, I reused my bedding from California (which was actually reused from my sister’s freshman dorm room). For decor, I wanted to keep it simple, but a little eccentric this year. My favorite decor piece in my room? Definitely my cow skull that I picked up on a whim at an antique mall in Dallas. It’s definitely not everybody’s cup of tea, but I thought it was a cool find. My other favorite decor piece would definitely be these cactus lights. They’re amazing!
[You can shop all my decor by clicking the link under each photo!]
So without further ado, here is my college apartment room:

Cali Apartment Tour
“Hey MTV & welcome to my crib”. Lol. Jk. I kid, I kid.
Hello, friends & happy Thursday [unless you are on the west coast, like me, then happy Wednesday evening]! I’ve been settling into my new -and very first – apartment these past few days, and I am so happy that things are finally coming together. The apartment hunt was not easy, by any means, whatsoever. After weeks and weeks of searching the depths of the internet, I finally found the perfect home, nested in Redwood City. Because living in California is crazy expensive, I kept the decor very affordable. I found the majority of the pieces at Target, and I found several little gems at thrift stores around the city. Living by myself in an apartment for the first time has been such an exciting adventure so far, and I am looking forward to these next three months in Cali! I am so incredibly blessed to have the opportunity to live & work in one of my favorite places in the entire world.
I wanted to share with y’all my new home for the summer! Without further ado or continued rambling, here is my new apartment:
