Have you ever walked into a store and found yourself immediately drawn to one specific piece? I fell in love right away to this striped maxi dress several months ago on a shopping outing with my mom. After peeping the price tag, I decided to pass on the sunset-colored frock because I figured I wouldn’t have an occasion to wear it. When I arrived in Maui last week, I was SO shocked to find that my mom actually purchased it for me as a surprise. It was such a thoughtful gift, and I felt like a total princess in this dress on our trip! It’s so flowy and flirty. I love the warm hues and flattering vertical stripes. This dress is on mega sale right now (which is why my mom picked it up for me) and currently under $50! It originally retailed for $228, so it’s a stellar deal. This gorgeous maxi is actually still available in all sizes still- in both regular and petite. My mom picked up an XS petite, which actually fit perfectly. So I would definitely say this one does run true to size.

For a sunset dinner on the beach, I paired the maxi dress with a dainty gold necklace and my favorite nude mules. It would be stunning with nude sandal heels and a low, elegant bun for a wedding guest outfit. I also think it would be perfect for brunch with some flat, gold sandals and a straw fedora. Maxi dresses are such perfect end-of-summer pieces!
