Hello, hello! I’m back with a New York City apartment tour! From my college apartment to my first apartment after graduation, I’ve always shown (almost) every single place that I’ve lived. When I move somewhere new, I always look for inspiration online, so I hope you find this little tour helpful (part two will be coming soon!).
Chase and I moved in together for the first time right after our wedding this past August. We started from scratch, moving to New York City with just a few suitcases. Before we got married, I lived in an already furnished place in Austin, so I didn’t own any furniture. It was nice to start with a blank canvas and pick out everything together.
Here’s a look at our bedroom, bathroom, and entryway:
The bedroom
CB2 mirissa bed, West Elm tiled nightstands, CB2 marble lamps, Anthropologie pillow
For our bedroom, we combined a lot of “natural” elements like wood, concrete, and marble. We decided to keep our bedroom very neutral with a variety of textures and shapes. And yes, that is a stuffed animal chicken.
Hugh Abernethy oil painting
Voluspa candle, CB2 metal rings
The bathroom
West Elm organizer, H&M basket, Parachute towels
H&M tray, Replica flower market, Byredo blanche, Byredo sundazed
Etc.
I’ll be sharing our living room and kitchen next, so stay tuned! In the meantime, check out some of my previous apartment tours:

*Little disclosure: nothing in this post is sponsored. Our entire apartment is probably 80% CB2, but that’s because it’s our favorite store. Almost all of our smaller items (like bedding, pillows, towels, lamps, and decor pieces) were gifted by friends and family as wedding presents – which we appreciate so, so much. The rest we purchased on our own.
So happy to see your posting again! Thanks for the inspiration 🙂
