When you think of New Year’s Eve (aka NYE) outfits, I think most people tend to picture sequins, stilettos, and 500 pounds of glitter (hey, I love my share of all three of those things). While those things are all good & well, not every occasion calls for them. I’ve definitely been to several more toned down NYE festivities over the years like a girls night dinner or a close knit house party. Those occasions can be a little difficult to dress for because you want to want to look your best and be festive, but you may not necessarily want to be overdressed or go ‘all out’.  I absolutely love this romper because I think it’s the perfect in between. It’s not fancy or formal, but on the other hand, it definitely is something a little more fun than your daily jeans + tee uniform.

I paired this little leopard romper with my favorite black booties and my everyday black crossbody purse. If it’s chilly, definitely opt for a black leather jacket to dress it up or a black cardi for a more laid back look. I also think this look would look killer with some red lips or even a dark, vampy look (if you’re feeling a bit edgy).
