Happy Monday & first week of April! One reason I’ve been looking forward to April (besides my 22nd bday) is Easter. Going to college 651 miles away from my sister/bestie isn’t always easy. Sadly, I don’t get to see her as often as I would like. Easter is the only time during the spring semester that I get to see her, so it is always an exciting holiday for me because I look forward to spending time with Alexandra. Recently I was reflecting on my friendship with my sister, and I realized how lucky I am to have her as not only my sister, but as my best friend. Our relationship is so special to me, and I can not wait to see her in just ten days!

In addition to getting to spend time with my family, I also love Easter because it a great time to dress up! Who doesn’t love having an excuse to break out a little pastel number? This lace midi dress is an absolute stunner. It’s the dress my mom is planning on wearing for Easter this year, so I just had to borrow it. I am so thankful to have a stylish mom that lets me raid her closet on occasion! This lace dress is constantly going in and out of stock on Nordstrom, and it is currently available in white and black (the periwinkle, pictured above, went out of stock again yesterday)! It’s super flattering (especially if you are a pear-shaped gal like me), and it does run true to size. One thing I love about this dress is the price point. It looks so much more expensive than it actually is + it’s under $100. I think it would be beautiful for Easter, a spring wedding, or even graduation!
