Hello & happy Wednesday! This week has been creeping by pretty slowly, and I am SO ready for the weekend to be here. Apologies that I have been a little behind on my normal posting schedule, but I will be back to posting every Monday very soon! Today’s post is a little bit of a random one, but I wanted to share some of my recent purchases from the past few weeks/months. I have picked up a few new pieces that I have been loving, so I wanted to share them with you today along with some pics of how I have styled a few of them so far!

L I T T L E B L A C K C R O P T O P S
I have been trying to add some more solid, black basics into my wardrobe over the past few months. You can really never have enough, and they virtually match almost any piece you already own. I think I am going to get so much use out of these two black crop tops this season. I plan on pairing them with high waisted denim jeans, printed flowy shorts (like the Mumu carlos shorts) and high waisted skirts. They are also perfect to layer under leather jackets, comfy cardis, and oversized denim jackets.
S W E A T E R S & C A R D I S
Here in San Francisco, it is pretty much always sweater weather. Year round. I’ve added a few new sweaters into my collection this past month, and I have been wearing all three constantly. My favorite? This gorgeous striped one. It is so colorful, and I always get compliments when I wear it! I usually wear it with jeans (both denim and white!), but I recently wore it with black denim shorts and black booties on a ‘warmer day’. It’s so soft! One of my coworkers asked if I was wearing a blanket the other day at work. I am also in love with my new pink cardi (that my mom surprised me with) and this affordable, bell sleeve blue sweater. Both are beautiful, versatile staples for fall.

S T A R G I R L
Y’all- this dress has to be my favorite new addition to my closet these past few months! My sister and I actually both purchased it to share. She got it first and wore it to her date party. Even though she is about five inches taller than me, it fits us both perfectly. #sisterhoodofthetravelingdress? Though I don’t have a specific occasion in mind to wear it to, I am thinking it will be perfect for any holiday festivity! I also think it could be dressed down with a jacket + over the knee boots or solid booties for a night out. It is seriously stunning and makes me feel like a space princess (is that weird to say? Probs.).

My friends from high school have been laughing at me since I moved out to Northern California because throughout HS (and honestly 95% of college), I stayed FAR away from jeans. Now, I basically live in them. Because I wore jeans maybe five or six times total in an eight year period, I have some catching up to do. I recently purchased my favorite busted jeans in another color (that luckily went on sale!), and I have to say they are my faves. I love this olive color, especially for autumn. It surprisingly pairs nicely with a lot of my other pieces- and I especially love the unexpected combo of olive + blush. As for these simple, skinny denim jeans, my mom convinced me to buy them. She has the same exact pair, and has been wearing them nonstop. For a few weeks I was a little hesitant on purchasing them (even though they are in the more affordable price range), but I am SO glad she finally talked me into picking them up. They fit true to size (as do the busted FP jeans) and are very comfy. I love the high waisted fit, and I definitely plan on scooping up another pair soon!

B R O N Z E B E L T
Last, but certainly not least, I picked up this bronze belt on sale last week. Though I haven’t had the chance to wear it yet, I think it will look beautiful with sweater dresses and jeans + sweaters + brown booties. It is a little on the heavy size, but I like that it’s adjustable and makes any outfit a little more chic. Plus- it would be perfect for any music festival.
